ImageMap extension

ImageMap extension : You evoque ImageMap on your UserPage. We used to use this extension, which is installed on all the wikis of the network. Yet, we have changed our mind about that extension, for three main reasons :

it's not really easy to use
it can usually be efficiently replaced by the "link" function on images, available on the recent versions of MediaWiki
it provoques a bug : when inserting an ImageMap in a page, it blocks end-pages notes for those who are not connected

On one given image, there can be only one link. But it's possible to pile up images, some of them being "transparent", only to add links. The better way would be to see the image you think about, and the links you'd like to establish.Thierry Daunois 14:46, 25 November 2011 (CET)

Tabs

The extension headertabs is curently used on the portal main page and on the search pages, but I'd prefer to use something more simpler, like on this portal: human rights using the template:page_tabs --Paul Rougieux 16:33, 24 January 2012 (CET)
