The French Environment and Energy Management Agency (French: Agence de l'Environnement et de la Maîtrise de l'Energie, ADEME) is a public agency under the joint authority of the Ministry for Ecology, Sustainable Development, Transport and Housing, the Ministry for Higher Education and Research, and the Ministry for Economy, Finance and Industry. ADEME is closely associated with the implementation of state policies in the areas of environment and energy and contributes to the fulfillment of international commitments made by France.
