Abstract
Abstract: We have developed a prototype of a chat system using sense of touch. Depending on the power of grasping a mouse, two or more kinds of face marks ((∧ ∧), (< >), etc.) are inputted into a chat window. We apply this system to a kind of an electronic conferencing system, named a remote seminar support system. From the results of the experiments, we found that the input method using sense of touch was useful for busy user who had no time to type keyboards. And we found that the users of this system were interested in this system.
