Abstract
It will take a large multi- and interdisciplinary team consisting of experts with diverse training backgrounds, such as material scientists, chemists, biologists, pharmacologists, electrical engineers, mathematicians, and clinicians, working efficiently hand in hand with regulators to make the prospect of more widespread use of MR-, CT-, and US-based molecular imaging methods a reality in the clinical arena.
