Property:Member of

This template is an adaptation of Semantic Web.
This relation describes that someone is a member of some group or organisation. Note that this does not correspond to the property foaf:member from the FOAF vocabulary, since foaf:member is directed from groups to members and not the other way around.
The property member of on Wicri ICS is a subproperty of Property:Affiliation, i.e. every member of a group is certainly also affiliated with that group. Affiliations, on the other hand, are more general than memberships. For example, some software tool might be affiliated with a research group or company, but is no "member of" that organisation.
