Home - About - Portal map

The content of this portal is provided by the EFI regional office EFICENT-OEF based in Nancy, France. More information and contact details are available on the EFICENT-OEF website: Information Portal on Forest Policies, Institutions and Instruments. Technical development is done in cooperation with the Wicri Environmental sciences and engineering project (in French), driven in cooperation with the french Sciences et génie de l'environnement (SGE) research pole from the university of Lorraine.

Technology

This portal is hosted on a thematic wiki related to the wood and forest sector hosted at the university of Lorraine. It uses MediaWiki, the website maintenance system behind wikipedia.

Network of Wikis for scientific information

This thematic wiki is part of a wider network of wikis for communities of research of innovation called "Wicri". The most prominent sites in this network are the wikis on urban soils.

Semantic extension

This site is a knowledge repository editable by registered users. It has the particularity to be fitted with an extension called Semantic Mediawiki which transforms it into a collaborative database.
