Here we record an additional two genera (<italic><named-content content-type="taxon-name"><named-content content-type="genus">Neralsia</named-content></named-content></italic> Cameron and <italic><named-content content-type="taxon-name"><named-content content-type="genus">Lonchidia</named-content></named-content></italic> Thomson) for the region and describe three new species: <italic><named-content content-type="taxon-name"><named-content content-type="genus">Neralsia</named-content><named-content content-type="species">haddocki</named-content></named-content></italic><bold>sp. n.</bold>; <italic><named-content content-type="taxon-name"><named-content content-type="genus">Xyalophora</named-content><named-content content-type="species">tedjoansi</named-content></named-content></italic><bold>sp. n.</bold>; <italic><named-content content-type="taxon-name"><named-content content-type="genus">Xyalophora</named-content><named-content content-type="species">tintini</named-content></named-content></italic><bold>sp. n.</bold> Benoit’s species described in 1956 are synonymized under <italic><named-content content-type="taxon-name"><named-content content-type="genus">Figites</named-content><named-content content-type="species">aciculatus</named-content></named-content></italic> (Benoit, 1956): <italic><named-content content-type="taxon-name"><named-content content-type="genus">Figites</named-content><named-content content-type="species">effossus</named-content></named-content></italic><bold>syn. n.</bold>; <italic><named-content content-type="taxon-name"><named-content content-type="genus">Figites</named-content><named-content content-type="species">favonius</named-content></named-content></italic><bold>syn. n.</bold>; <italic><named-content content-type="taxon-name"><named-content content-type="genus">Figites</named-content><named-content content-type="species">furvus</named-content></named-content></italic><bold>syn. n.</bold>; <italic><named-content content-type="taxon-name"><named-content content-type="genus">Figites</named-content><named-content content-type="species">fraudator</named-content></named-content></italic><bold>syn. n.</bold> Identification keys to the figitine genera and species occurring in the Afrotropical region are provided. Here we record an additional two genera (<italic><named-content content-type="taxon-name"><named-content content-type="genus">Neralsia</named-content></named-content></italic> Cameron and <italic><named-content content-type="taxon-name"><named-content content-type="genus">Lonchidia</named-content></named-content></italic> Thomson) for the region and describe three new species: <italic><named-content content-type="taxon-name"><named-content content-type="genus">Neralsia</named-content><named-content content-type="species">haddocki</named-content></named-content></italic><bold>sp. n.</bold>; <italic><named-content content-type="taxon-name"><named-content content-type="genus">Xyalophora</named-content><named-content content-type="species">tedjoansi</named-content></named-content></italic><bold>sp. n.</bold>; <italic><named-content content-type="taxon-name"><named-content content-type="genus">Xyalophora</named-content><named-content content-type="species">tintini</named-content></named-content></italic><bold>sp. n.</bold> Benoit’s species described in 1956 are synonymized under <italic><named-content content-type="taxon-name"><named-content content-type="genus">Figites</named-content><named-content content-type="species">aciculatus</named-content></named-content></italic> (Benoit, 1956): <italic><named-content content-type="taxon-name"><named-content content-type="genus">Figites</named-content><named-content content-type="species">effossus</named-content></named-content></italic><bold>syn. n.</bold>; <italic><named-content content-type="taxon-name"><named-content content-type="genus">Figites</named-content><named-content content-type="species">favonius</named-content></named-content></italic><bold>syn. n.</bold>; <italic><named-content content-type="taxon-name"><named-content content-type="genus">Figites</named-content><named-content content-type="species">furvus</named-content></named-content></italic><bold>syn. n.</bold>; <italic><named-content content-type="taxon-name"><named-content content-type="genus">Figites</named-content><named-content content-type="species">fraudator</named-content></named-content></italic><bold>syn. n.</bold> Identification keys to the figitine genera and species occurring in the Afrotropical region are provided.
