Abstract
We describe a model for the collaborative conferencing and joint editing system MultimETH. We also introduce a document model that has been designed to meet collaborative needs in the context of joint editing. The overall design goals for MultimETH have been to identify and model the conference behavior and the functional requirements of a specific user group, in order to define a complete and easy to use set of commands and interaction tools. We also show how to integrate the MultimETH system into the conventional office working environment. The work described in this paper is part of the MultimETH multimedia collaboration project at ETH Zurich.
