All rights reserved.The excitation spectra of Tl+-center luminescence and recombination phosphorescence have been investigated for a KCl:Tl crystal using synchrotron radiation. The excitation of Tl+ centers due to hot photoelectrons, generated by photons of 14.5-16.5 eV, has been revealed. The threshold photon energies for excitation of A and B luminescence of Tl+ centers at 8 K as well as of recombination phosphorescence at 295 K have been experimentally determined.
