Abstract
The novel family of the hydrazone based hole transporting materials possessing different amount and position of hydroxyl groups in the linking fragment of photoconductive chromophores were synthesized and investigated as potential new materials for electrophotography. The molecular structure of these hole transporting materials (TM) ensures good compatibility with hydroxyl groups containing binding material (BM) polivinylbutyral (PVB) and allows stable films to be prepared. Obtained compounds were characterized by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and time of flight method. Unlike a significant influence on the morphological properties, the position of the hydroxyl groups towards each other does not influence the mobility values of investigated TMs.
