Abstract

Structural features of LiNixMnyCoxO2 oxides (LNMCOs) have been studied as a function of the synthetic procedure and the composition. Materials were characterized by a set of methods including XRD, SEM, TEM, EDAX, BET, 7Li MAS-NMR and Raman experiments. TEM experiments show that the increase of cobalt content induces a change of particles morphology, form octahedron to spherical like shape with size range 200-350 nm. HRTEM image shows layered structure without dislocations.
