- Endogleyic (ng): having between 50 and 100 cm from the mineral soil surface a layer, 25 cm or more thick, that has reducing conditions in some parts and a gleyic colour pattern throughout.
- Epigleyic (glp): having within 50 cm of the mineral soil surface a layer, 25 cm or more thick, that has reducing conditions in some parts and a gleyic colour pattern throughout.
