Abstract
This paper presents a classifiction of ILANs according to some new criteria (cooperation models, time management in protocols, etc...) issued of a fine analysis of some typical real-time application requirements. This new classification not only facilitates the choice of the adequate network regarding to user's applications but also leads to the definition of some real-time profiles.
