Abstract

In this paper, we present an efficient algorithm determining perspective structures such as vanishing points and horizon lines for indoor scenes. The algorithm is implemented as a hierarchical Hough transform on the pyramidal sphere. The uncertainty due to gaussian mapping with different focal distance is discussed, and a possible improvement of the algorithm is also given.
