Abstract
In this paper the objectives of the INGEPOL project are explained. The architecture of the system is then described, this being governed by a number of constraints. Associated problems are highlighted. The role of SGML (Standard Generalized Markup Language) and advantages offered by such an approach are presented within the framework of complex projects.
