Abstract
This paper discusses the SARS issue in China in relation to the tourism and hotel industry. The paper has some significance, as the tourism and hotel industry was greatly affected by the SARS problem worldwide. Yet the overall SARS impact on the Chinese economy has been rather minimal; the main lessons were both social and political.
