Abstract

The pandemic of children obesity asks the fundamental question of the understanding of their food behavior. The purpose of this article is to report social interactions in children's food consumption. The authors support the prevailing idea that it is important to consider learning in a systematic / ecological perspective, integrating a set of environmental, social and cultural factors interacting with each other and with the child. This supplies a more complete reading grid of the understanding of food behavior within the family and health issues that are associated with it, such as obesity.

            <abstract xml:lang="fr">              <p>La pandémie de l'obésité chez l'enfant pose la question fondamentale de la compréhension de son comportement alimentaire. L'objectif de cet article est de rendre compte des interactions sociales dans la consommation alimentaire des enfants. Les auteurs soutiennent l'idée force qu'il est important de considérer l'apprentissage dans une perspective systémique/ écologique intégrant un ensemble de facteurs environnementaux, sociaux et culturels en interaction les uns avec les autres et avec l'enfant. Ceci fournit une grille de lecture plus complète de la compréhension du comportement alimentaire au sein de la famille et des problèmes de santé qui lui sont associés comme l'obésité.</p>
