Abstract
Secondary lymphangioma (lymphangiectasis) has been reported as a consequence of lymphatic damage. No specific histological criteria can be used to differentiate primary lymphangioma circumscriptum from lymphangiectasis. We describe a woman who developed lymphangiectases on both non‐lymphoedcmatous upper thighs after hysterectomy and radiation therapy for carcinoma of the cervix. This case differs from the secondary lymphangiomas reported previously in that the vascular channels appeared in newly formed adventitial dermis without histological changes in the epidermis.
