Abstract

Administrators and nursing faculty at colleges have a responsibility to prepare nurses who are empowered and able to think critically, promote change, and generate creative problem-solving approaches. The findings of the study described in this article suggest that nursing faculty members in colleges of nursing reassess their degree of involvement in decision-making activities so they can create a learning environment that is beneficial for themselves as well as the students.
