Abstract
Abstract: We compare the specific heat on high Tc superconductors with that of 4He in the reduced temperature regime 0<|T-Tc|/Tc<0.2. We find a perfect λ-transition for the new superconductors. This fact strongly suggests that the charge carriers in the high Tc superconductors may be tightly bound electron-pairs, having Bose characteristics whose mass and density we can determine. Electromagnetic properties such as penetration depth and Hc2 are discussed in the frame of a charged Bose liquid.
