Abstract

Abstract: Data on the properties of U in lower oxidation states, published between 1988 to 2005, are summarized. In this period, the interest in the chemistry of trivalent and bivalent uranium, especially in its coordination and organometallic chemistry, considerably increased. Possible applications of trivalent uranium are outlined.
