The lateral dimension between the terminal position of the muscular contraction path and centric relation position, the distribution of the terminal position of the muscular contraction path are not correlated to the vertical dimension. The center of the terminal position of the muscular contraction path is 1-4 mm ahead of the centric relation position and (0.42 + or - 0.47) mm lateral to the centric relation position.
