Abstract

Aim

To prevent cicatrical scar formation of the oral commissure post commissuroplasty.

Method

Bilateral commisuroplasty followed by tooth borne static orthosis and then after dynamic orthosis for a period of one year.

Conclusion

The use of both static and dynamic orthosis in appropriate sequence resulted in good scar outcome.
