Abstract

The dental computed tomographic (CT) scan is useful in presurgical planning for implant prosthodontics. To provide accurate information, the patient must be positioned properly during the scan procedure. This article describes a method for fabricating a template that provides guidance to the CT technologist for desired head orientation of the patient.
