Abstract
Different concepts regarding the number of implants and attachment systems for the preparation of implant‐supported over‐dentures (IODs) have been discussed. Nonetheless, long‐term results for double‐crown‐retained IODs with an observational period of more than 10 years are still rare in the literature.
