Abstract: Use of a pharyngeal flap with the temporalis muscle has been shown in two cases to be an effective surgical means of correcting an existing velopharyngeal incompetency with satisfactory results in terms of both speech articulation and muscle function.

<abstract lang="en">Abstract: Use of a pharyngeal flap with the temporalis muscle has been shown in two cases to be an effective surgical means of correcting an existing velopharyngeal incompetency with satisfactory results in terms of both speech articulation and muscle function.</abstract>
