Abstract
Abstract: Intra-oral surfaces inevitably become covered with bacterial deposits, named “dental plaque”. Plaque consists for approximately 70% by weight out of bacteria, the remainder being proteins, exopolysaccharides and food debris (Marsh and Martin, 1984).
