Abstract

Abstract: Mandibular movements are coordinated, synchronous, and asymptomatic in most people, but they may be irregular, incoordinated, limited, and painful in others. Abnormal and excessive use of the muscles of the mandible are recognized as etiologic factors in the myofascial pain dysfunction syndrome. Relearning of mandibular movement is the treatment method we use in the elimination of these factors.
