Abstract

Abstract: A new method of intermaxillary fixation of jaw fractures for use in partly edentulous patients is described. A report is presented of a case in which the method of treatment was used with gratifying results, and the means of application of the method to other types of jaw fractures is explained. The advantages of this method are case of execution, effectiveness, and minimum discomfort and inconvenience for the patient.
