Abstract

Abstract: A musical transcription technique for amplifying differences between experimental and calculated photoelectron spectra is described and applied to the spectra ofphosphabenzene. This new diagnostic procedure includes the development of the transcribed musispectra into a piano composition. The results reveal a number of features of both musical and scientific interest.
