Abstract
In the context of German Romanticism this article aims at highlighting the contribution of the Catholic Tübingen School to the field of Eucharistic theology. In fact, though neither the Eucharist nor the liturgy were the school's primary focus, study of the works of some of its members reveals a number of interesting relevant topics and moreover a striking overlap emerges vis-à-vis the aims of the twentieth-century Liturgical Movement. The A. concludes by drawing comparisons between nineteenth-century Tübingen theology and the work of one of its recent representatives, Cardinal Walter Kasper. Questo articolo mira a evidenziare il contributo offerto, nel contesto del Romanticismo tedesco, dalla Scuola cattolica di Tubinga nell'ambito della teologia eucaristica. Né l'Eucaristia né la liturgia costituirono, propriamente, l'ambito fondamentale di applicazione della Scuola, ma lo studio delle opere di alcuni suoi membri rivela un certo numero di argomenti di notevole interesse, oltre a far emergere delle sorprendenti analogie con gli obiettivi del Movimento Liturgico del XX secolo. L'A. conclude delineando un confronto fra la teologia ottocentesca di Tubinga e l'opera di uno dei suoi rappresentanti recenti, il Card. Walter Kasper.
