Abstract

As for my career there is only this, I did my best. Anything I had to say I said, from the stages of the world, and I do believe that some got the message I sought to deliver. But I have no interest whatsoever in publicizing myself because of it. I never sought to do anything other than to try to reveal the work, and it is absolutely over. I rejoice in the sense of awe I feel at having the privilege of opening some of the greatest works of musical literature, and of doing them with the greatest of my time, and that is far more than I ever dreamed of and so very much more than enough.
