WILLEM F. ZUURDEEG is Professor of Philosophy of Religion at McCormick Theological Seminary, Chicago. He is a graduate of the University of Amsterdam with the Ph.D. in theology. His books include Consequences of the Vienna Circle Philosophy for Ethics and An Analytical Philosophy of Religion. The present article is based on a paper read by Dr. Zuurdeeg at the National Meeting of the NABI at Union Theological Seminary, New York, December 27–28, 1960.
