Abstract
The rhythm of La Mort de Molière is based on repetition, variation and combination of images, and on different texts. The absence of a linear development gives to rhythm of this video an important place in the spectator's perception. This rhythm presents surprising features, such as the independence of the musical rhythm, of the actors' voices and movements, as well as a progression built on variation and combination of images. This article analyzes these features in relation with the experience of time.
