He has published over 50 journal articles and book chapters on Handel and almost 30 articles by him can be found in the new Cambridge Handel Encyclopedia. His Opera and song books published in England, 1703–1726: a descriptive bibliography was issued by the Bibliographical Society (London) in 1997. Currently he is engaged in a two-decade-long exploration of archival sources relating to the audience—potential and actual—that heard or chose not to hear Handel's own performances</mods:affiliation>
