Abstract
In the present «Message», John Paul II judges the «Charter of European Union's main rights» negatively, since it does not mention the religious inheritance of Europe, whose history has been mingling with the history of Evangelisation for centuries, so it is impossible to conceive a European State not accepting Christian faith. Hence, the Pope's delusion «because in the charter there is not even a reference to God, who is the supreme source of Human person's dignity and main rights». Finally, he adds that «both God and man's rights establish themselves and fall together».
