Abstract
Author's summary.— To strengthen the position of French in the curriculum, we must show its interrelation with other subjects. A study of its physical structure, accompanied by research into the riches of its cultural background, furnishes material for class activities and the satisfaction of individual interests, and for integration with other departments.
