Abstract
This books puts in an era of globalization Norts Sea Ports and their city regions in an international perspective. The editors set out to establish a baseline for further analysis of ports in the Hamburg-Le Havre range. They have selected studies by experts on five major ports : Rotterdam, Antwerp, Hamburg, Le Havre and Felixstowe. Two subsequent chapters discuss how European seaport policy will affect competition among ports, port regions and states. - (AGD)
