Abstract
Résumé: La sarcoïdose est une granulomatose pouvant concerner différents organes. Nous rapportons un cas associant une localisation pulmonaire et thyroïdienne.ObservationUne adolescente de 12 ans atteinte d'un goitre a consulté pour une dyspnée. Un syndrome interstitiel était visualisé sur la scanographie thoracique. Le diagnostic de sarcoïdose a été porté à la suite de l'étude histologique des biopsies pulmonaires, réalisées par thoracoscopie.ConclusionL'association atteinte pulmonaire et thyroïdienne dans la sarcoïdose chez l'enfant est exceptionnelle. La nécessité d'un diagnostic de certitude justifie les examens invasifs.

In this study, we report a case with both lung and thyroid involvement.Case reportA 12-year-old girl with goiter was referred for dyspnea. Lung CT scan showed diffuse interstitial disease. The diagnosis of sarcoidosis was made following a histological study of lung specimens obtained via video-assisted thoracoscopy.ConclusionLung biopsy is important in establishing the diagnosis of interstitial lung disease. In this study, the various forms of granulomatous lesions in the thyroid gland and in the lung have been described. However, it should be emphasized that the association of thyroid gland disorder and lung involvement in cases of sarcoidosis is a rare occurrence in children and adolescents. Un syndrome interstitiel était visualisé sur la scanographie thoracique. Le diagnostic de sarcoïdose a été porté à la suite de l'étude histologique des biopsies pulmonaires, réalisées par thoracoscopie.ConclusionL'association atteinte pulmonaire et thyroïdienne dans la sarcoïdose chez l'enfant est exceptionnelle. La nécessité d'un diagnostic de certitude justifie les examens invasifs.</abstract><abstract lang="en">Summary: Sarcoidosis is a systemic granulomatous disease of uncertain etiology which can affect different organs in the body. In this study, we report a case with both lung and thyroid involvement.Case reportA 12-year-old girl with goiter was referred for dyspnea. Lung CT scan showed diffuse interstitial disease. The diagnosis of sarcoidosis was made following a histological study of lung specimens obtained via video-assisted thoracoscopy.ConclusionLung biopsy is important in establishing the diagnosis of interstitial lung disease. In this study, the various forms of granulomatous lesions in the thyroid gland and in the lung have been described. However, it should be emphasized that the association of thyroid gland disorder and lung involvement in cases of sarcoidosis is a rare occurrence in children and adolescents.
