Abstract

La fibromatose mammaire est une pathologie rare qui mime cliniquement et radiologiquement une tumeur maligne. Elle se caractérise par une évolution strictement locale mais avec une tendance à l’infiltration et à la récidive. Son diagnostic repose sur l’examen histologique et son traitement est essentiellement chirurgical. À propos d’un cas de fibromatose mammaire et d’une revue de la littérature, les auteurs insistent sur les difficultés de son diagnostic et de son traitement.

<abstract>Primary fibromatosis of the breast is a very rare pathology which looks like a malignant tumor, clinically and radiologically. Fibromatosis of the breast is characterised by a local invasion and a risk of recurrence. Positive diagnosis is provided by histology and its treatment is surgical. The aim of this study was to report one case and to emphasize the difficulties encountered in the diagnosis and the treatment.</abstract>

<ce:simple-para view="all" id="simple-para.0035">Primary fibromatosis of the breast is a very rare pathology which looks like a malignant tumor, clinically and radiologically. Fibromatosis of the breast is characterised by a local invasion and a risk of recurrence. Positive diagnosis is provided by histology and its treatment is surgical. The aim of this study was to report one case and to emphasize the difficulties encountered in the diagnosis and the treatment.</ce:simple-para>

<abstract lang="fr">La fibromatose mammaire est une pathologie rare qui mime cliniquement et radiologiquement une tumeur maligne. Elle se caractérise par une évolution strictement locale mais avec une tendance à l’infiltration et à la récidive. Son diagnostic repose sur l’examen histologique et son traitement est essentiellement chirurgical. À propos d’un cas de fibromatose mammaire et d’une revue de la littérature, les auteurs insistent sur les difficultés de son diagnostic et de son traitement.</abstract>
