Abstract
This paper aims to map out expansion movements within French producer services networks. Network organisations growth is reflected through increasing setting-ups of new establishments controlled by a head-office. Despite a great variety of growth objectives and several location factors, this paper aims to focus on patterns of location strategies. Nevertheless can these patterns be linked with innovation spatial diffusion processes? Contagion matrixes and employment areas hierarchy are used to analyse these diffusion processes of establishments considering their head-office first. The macro level of this study allows us to define the relative weight of the contagious expansion diffusion, on one hand, and of the hierarchical diffusion expansion, on the other. At a micro level, this weight slides between one or the other process depending on the centrality degree of the employment area. La croissance d'un réseau d'entreprise s'exprime par la multiplication du nombre d'établissements gérés par un siège social. Si on peut observer une grande variété d'objectifs de croissance et de nombreux facteurs de localisation par entreprise et par secteur, l'objectif de cet article est de rechercher des récurrences dans les stratégies de localisation à un niveau global. Les mouvements de localisation des établissements à partir de leurs sièges sociaux sont-ils alors assimilables aux processus de diffusion spatiale des innovations ? On a recours à des matrices de contiguïtés et à la hiérarchie des zones d'emploi pour analyser la diffusion des établissements contrôlés par leurs sièges sociaux. Des résultats au niveau global permettent d'appréhender le poids des processus de diffusion par contagion et par les canaux de la hiérarchie dans les mouvements d'expansion des réseaux de services aux entreprises. Au niveau local, on observe une forte incidence du degré de centralité de la zone d'implantation du siège social sur la répartition spatiale de ses établissements.</abstract></profileDesc></hal></record>Pour manipuler ce document sous Unix (Dilib)
