Abstract
Anton Saefkow ist eine wichtige Figur des kommunistischen Widerstands gegen den Nationalsozialismus in Deutschland. Im April 1933 wurde der erfahrene Kämpfer der Kommunistischer Partei Deutschlands (KPD) verhaftet. So begann eine Landreise durch abwechselnde Phasen mit Widerstand und Einsperrungen bis seiner Hinrichtung durch die Nazis 1944. Dieser Leidensweg wird in Ostdeutschland ab 1949 verwendet, um das Portrait eines vorbildlichen Sozialisten darzustellen. Anton Saefkows Leben schafft durch eine geschickte Propaganda, die in der DDR in allen Bereichen des Lebens herrschte, eine heroische Erinnerung an den Dienst der politischen Macht in der DDR.

Militant aguerri du KPD, le parti communiste allemand, il est arrêté en avril 1933. Commence alors un long périple, où alternent faits de résistance et périodes d'enfermement jusqu'à sa condamnation à mort et son exécution en 1944 par les nazis. Ce parcours est utilisé en Allemagne de l'Est dès 1949 pour dresser le portrait d'un socialiste exemplaire.
