Abstract

The design and development of a new mathematical function library is described. The library extends programming support to decimal, as well as binary, arithmetic, and aims to influence the future evolution of floating‐point support in programming languages, libraries, and hardware. It encourages and facilitates research in new computer‐arithmetic designs, and the analysis and comparison of historical ones. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Int J Quantum Chem, 2009

<p>The design and development of a new mathematical function library is described. Int J Quantum Chem, 2009</p>
