Abstract: We present a new approach to automatic speech recognition (ASR) based on the formalism of Bayesian networks. We put the foundations of new ASR systems for which the robustness relies on the fidelity in speech modeling and on the information contained in training data.

<abstract lang="en">Abstract: We present a new approach to automatic speech recognition (ASR) based on the formalism of Bayesian networks. We put the foundations of new ASR systems for which the robustness relies on the fidelity in speech modeling and on the information contained in training data.</abstract>
