Fortran

Fortran (mathematical FORmula TRANslating system) est un langage de programmation généraliste dont le domaine de prédilection est le calcul scientifique et le calcul numérique. Il est utilisé aussi bien sur ordinateur personnel que sur les superordinateurs.

Scope: A computer-assisted study of the "interpolation phenomena" in the Chanson de Roland - an attempt to clarify the connections among the C, P, T, L, and V7 manuscripts with the aid of the Romania, Michelant, and Lavergne fragments.

Method: An algorithmic methodology is used, derived from Dom Quentin, to obtain all the "linear" and "non-linear" (interpolated) relationships.
