Abstract
Two models for the production of particles with internal quantum numbers are investigated. They are based on the leading particle approximation. First a unitary isospin invariant S-operator model is constructed for pion production. Then generalized coherent states for particle-antiparticle pairs are introduced from which a statistical operator is derived. Both approaches imply non-vanishing correlation integrals.
