L'expérience consiste à injecter du cytoplasme d'œufs en segmentation dans des ovocytes en pleine croissance. On observe alors que le cytoplasme est caractérisé par une forte activité du facteur entraînant la rupture de la vésicule germinale. Il faut noter aussi le développement de la réaction corticale
