Abstract
Résumé: Dernière née des propositions thérapeutiques concernant l'adénocarcinome exocrine du pancréas potentiellement résécable, la chimioradiothérapie néoadjuvante implique d'affirmer le diagnostic, de préjuger de la résécabilité avec un haut degré de précision, et de pallier l'ictère lorsqu'il est présent. Cette stratégie thérapeutique relativement complexe ne semble pas entraîner d'effet délétère sur le déroulement de l'acte chirurgical et les suites opératoires. Seule la mise en place de protocoles multicentriques permettra de juger dans un proche avenir de l'influence sur la survie et des éventuels effets toxiques de cette nouvelle stratégie thérapeutique.

This rather complex strategy does not seem to have major deleterious effects on the operative procedure or the postoperative course. Cette stratégie thérapeutique relativement complexe ne semble pas entraîner d'effet délétère sur le déroulement de l'acte chirurgical et les suites opératoires. Seule la mise en place de protocoles multicentriques permettra de juger dans un proche avenir de l'influence sur la survie et des éventuels effets toxiques de cette nouvelle stratégie thérapeutique.</abstract><abstract lang="en">Summary: The last of the therapeutic modalities proposed for exocrine adenocarcinoma of the pancreas which appears to be potentially resectable, neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy has many prerequisites: validation of the diagnosis, determination of resectability with a high degree of confidence and palliation of biliary obstruction when present. This rather complex strategy does not seem to have major deleterious effects on the operative procedure or the postoperative course.
