Il définit les principales orientations des recherches des géographes français dans le domaine du transport, de 1983 à 1987 : transports urbains et régionaux, transports par voie d'eau (maritime et fluviale), transports et mutations actuelles, notamment dans la perspective du marché unique européen.</abstract>
