Le cirque dans la littérature scientifique
Pour répondre à cet objectif nous avons constitué un corpus de documents à partir des fonds ISTEX sur la thématique du cirque.
L'expérience a immédiatement montré que la thématique du cirque présente des difficultés d'extraction. Nous présentons ici deux exemples.
Dans un premier temps, nous avions opté pour une stratégie booléenne avec la requête suivante.
"(circus AND (performing OR barnum OR medrano OR clown OR danc*)) OR slacklin*"
Nous avons ainsi sélectionné 4849 documents. Malheureusement, ce corpus comporte trop de bruit par rapport à la problématique pour être exploitable. Nous l'avons cependant conservé pour aider au repérage d'un ensemble significatifs de documents caractéristiques de recherche entre les arts du cirque et les sciences.
Article détaillé : Serveur d'exploration sur le cirque/Premier essai.Nous avons ensuite opté pour une autre stratégie, basée sur les capacités de classement des moteurs de recherche, (ici Elasticsearch).
Plus précisément la requête
"barnum circus arts circuses cirque performing medrano clown danc* juggler*"
sélectionne plus d'un million de documents.
